THE BIBLE
The Bible is the word of God. Given by inspiration and infallibly preserved. Purified seven times, it is given to us in the authorized King James Bible. Many good churches say they use the King James Bible. We prefer to say we
believe the King James Bible, and it uses us! It is the only book on earth said to be alive.
• 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness :17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
• Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
• Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
SALVATION
Salvation is the free gift of God, provided through the death, burial and ressurection of His son, Jesus Christ. It is obtained through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance is defined as a change of heart toward yourself and God. Realizing that you are wrong and he is right. It results in you admitting to God your failure at being righteous, and then recieving His free gift of perfect righteousness and salvation by faith.
• 2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

• Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish

• Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

• Romans 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

• Romans 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

• Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

• Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

• Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
• Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

• 1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

• Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

• Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Bible Baptist Church
• Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

• John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

• Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.
We believe in one God, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, manifesting himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; one in nature, attributes, power, and glory.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, and that He is true God and true man. The second person of the Godhead, responsible for the creation of all things. (see above)
• Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

• Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
MAN
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God. Willful sin on Adam’s part brought death, both physical death and the second death which is eternal punishment in the Lake of fire. Humans are born sinners and then become sinners by choice. Man's only hope is in the great salvation provided by God through his son, Jeus Christ. (see above "salvation")
• Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

• Psalms 14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

• Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, the third member of the trinity, verily God, convincing men of sin, revealing Christ, teaching truth, restraining evil, encouraging believers in prayer, worship and service, He is always present in the believer as our comforter and helper, and intercessor. As God, the Holy Spirit retains all the attributes of Diety while always seeking to magnify Jesus Christ.

THE HOLY GHOST
• Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Acts 5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

• John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
John 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
SATAN
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan: that he is a created being, the present god of this world, that he fell through pride, and that he will be judged and cast into the lake of fire. He is not omnipresent nor omnicient. He deceives the lost and believers alike through deception and lies.
• Ezekiel 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Ezekiel 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

• 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

• 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
GOD
THE LOCAL CHURCH
We Believe the Local Church an organism rather than an organization. The church is alive because of its founder, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is it's head, the local pastor the undershepherd. It is the "vehicle" God has ordained it to spread the gospel around the world, edifiy and encourage the saints of God, and to be a light in this dark world. Every believer should belong to a local bible believing church.
THE RETURN OF CHRIST
We believe in the physical resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, His ascension into Heaven, His present ministry there for us as our High Priest; His personal, bodily, visible, premillenial return to establish His kingdom on earth, to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
• Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him Even so, Amen.

• Zechariah 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

• Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH
We believe in the blessed hope, which is the return in the air of Jesus Christ to catch up his Bride, all believers who have put thier faith and trust in Him. The rapture is not the second coming. (see above), but rather the gathering of His saints to heaven. The rapture is pre-tribulational, meaning the church is NOT chosen by God to go through the "time of Jacobs trouble"
• John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

• 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

• 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
HEAVEN AND HELL
We believe in a literal Heaven, where the saved live forever in perfection, enjoying the presence of God, and each other. The lost, those refusing the shed blood atonement provided by God in the person of his only begotten son, will spend eternity in a lake of fire.
There are fifty four verses in the scripture on Hell. More than on any one subject.
• Isaiah 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

• Mark 9:44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Mark 9:46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Mark 9:47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
Mark 9:48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Iasiah 66:24 is the Old Testament verse most quoted by Jesus Christ.

Heaven
• Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

We believe it to be the prividledge and duty of all believers to be faitful witnesses of the Grace of God, and testify to all the Gospel, through personal witness, street preaching, literature distribution and prayer.
